INTRODUCTION

gtGallery Outeach offers participatory activities that relate to the gtGallery Exhibition programme while maintaining a responsive relationship to issues that concern local communities.

We try to make our activities as much fun as possible while aiming for professional results as an end result.

Recent projects include:
  • KITES
    a series of workshops as part of Cliftonville and Ardoyne CEP's Summer Intervention Programme Sounds Of Belfast a mega multi-media sound explosion using everything from car bonnets to oil drums with obligitory ear plugs provided. Hazelwood Integrated College were the last group to get with the noise

  • BURN
    a new look at the bonfire issue through cross community eyes with young people from the Shankill and Ardoyne

  • LOVE 2008
    a calendar project with senior citizens from the Ardoyne / Shankill Health Partnership

  • WORK
    a collaborative exhibition with the Communication Workers Union incorporating painting, poetry & photography from CWU members under a backdrop of trade union banners

  • FILM PROJECT
    currently underway with young people from the Ardoyne and Marrowbone areas
